Docutech is proud to announce that we have become the sponsors of Curzon Ashton FC’s Community Foundation. The football club is staffed through volunteers, the ethos of the club is about inclusion, and it has a strong local presence through local businesses and giving back to the community in a variety of ways such as free use of their facilities and various events throughout the year.
So far we have been involved in the helping out at the OAP Christmas lunch and providing presents and raffle prizes. We are looking to create a charity cup, starting a breakfast club for charities who attend the club on a weekly basis and looking to have Fundays with a bouncy castle for local children to attend. The club has Walking Football twice a week which offers older people and people with physical conditions the opportunity to play football without impacting on their joints post-surgery etc, whilst socialising and keeping fit with people of a similar age or circumstance.
